This page explains how to register workers in Acall in a batch with a CSV file and how to export workers registered in Acall as a CSV file.
The asynchronous import procedure allows you to import from thousands workers at once.
About importing workers
⚠︎ ATTENTION
・Acall has 2 options to import workers, "Import All" and "Import Batch (up to 100 items).
・This page explains "Import All". For "Import Batch (up to 100 items)", please refer to [Import/Export Workers].
・Please note that import may take up to 24 hours to complete.
・Please add the following FQDNs in advance, If you have restricted transmissible FQDNs.

You can import a CSV file and register workers in Acall in a batch.
- Since the importing procedure is asynchronous, you can even shut down your PC or web browser. You will get an email notification when the import is complete.
- When you "Import All", only the workers listed in the CSV file for import will be updated. The update will not be applied to the workers that are not listed in the CSV file.
- For existing workers, only email address will be used as the key.
- You can not update email addresses in a batch. Please update one by one.

💡 NOTE
・You can also edit exported CSV file using [Exporting Workers] then import updated file.
・If you want to update the existing worker information, you can use the exported CSV file instead of the template.
・The items to be checked on our backend for importing are different from those for "Import Batch (up to 100 items)". For more details, please click "View your import history here" on Acall Portal.
Open [Import & Export] in the side menu on Acall Portal.
Select [worker] from the pull down menu in "CSV Template" section and click [DOWNLOAD].
Add/Edit worker information in CSV file
Add or edit worker information in downloaded CSV file and save.
⚠︎ ATTENTION
・Items marked with (*) are required.
・The character code of the CSV file is UTF-8.
・If you want to update the existing worker information, please use the exported CSV file instead of the template.
・If you leave any of the optional fields blank for existing workers, it will be overwritten with blank.
・If you do not want to change the values, retain the existing values in the exported CSV file.
・If you want to assign a worker to a group, the group must be registered in Acall in advance.

Select CSV file and import
Click [Import & Export] in the side menu on Acall Portal.
Select [workers] under "Import All", and click [IMPORT] after selecting CSV file.
Once import is completed, "Request completed, The import request is complete" message will be displayed in the import history screen.
It may take up to 24 hours for the import completion.
Please wait until you receive an email complete notification.
Import results
Receive an email notification for import result
Import completion notification will be sent to the email address of the person in charge of the import.
If the import result is "Completed without error", it means the import was successfully completed.
Click the URL in the email to see the details of the import results.
The status will be displayed as "Succeeded" and the import result will be displayed in the log.
Even if import fails, import completion notification will be sent to the email address of the person in charge of the import.
If the import result is "Encountered an error", it means error occurred during the import process.
Click the URL in the e-mail to see the details of the import result.
The status will be "Error" and you can see the import result in 'Logs'.
Rows with errors will be skipped while rows without errors will be completed.
Refer to the error details and correct the CSV file and import again.
⚠︎ ATTENTION
・It may take up to 24 hours for the import completion.
・Importing is performed asynchronously in parallel and the order of processing is not in the order of the CSV file.
・If worker registrations exceed your contracted worker limit, it will result in an error.
If you want to change the worker limit, please contact us via [Contact form].
・If import is not completed after 24 hours, please check the following three items in the import history and contact us via [Contact form].
1. Details of the error (If applicable)
2. Import history ID
3. Date and time of the import
Check imported worker information
Click [Organization] > [Workers] in the side menu on Acall Portal.
View the details of the imported worker and check if it is correctly registered, updated, or deleted.
⚠︎ ATTENTION
If you changed a worker status to retired by CSV import, reservations for the future external meetings that the worker is in charge will be deleted.
Check worker import history
List of import history
You can see the status of import process or review past import history.
Click [Import & Export] in the side menu on Acall Portal.
Click [View your import history here] under "Import All".
You can see the list of the import history that are in progress and have been completed.
You can filter by status, date, and time.

Worker export feature
You can export workers registered in Acall as a CSV file.
- Items in the exported CSV file are the same as those in the CSV file for import.
- Character encoding of the exported CSV file is UTF-8.
- You can edit exported CSV file and use for importing.
Export workers
Open [Import & Export] in the side menu on Acall Portal and click [EXPORT] tab.
Select [workers] and click [EXPORT].
Once export is completed, "Success Exported" message will be displayed.
