You can use temporary display in case temporary reception support is needed.
This page explains how to set up temporary display in Acall Reception and how to customize the design and messages.
💡 NOTE
The temporary display function is not available for devices using in multi-tenancy.
Set Up Temporary Display
You can switch ON/OFF for the temporary display for each device on Acall Portal.
Click [App settings] > [Acall Reception] in the side menu on Acall Portal.
Click [Edit] icon for the device which you want to show temporary display.
Turn on the [temporary view] toggle in the upper right corner and click [UPDATE].
Please make sure that Acall Reception (iPad) screen is changed to the temporary display.
Turn off the [temporary view] toggle to turn it OFF when you show the regular reception display, and then click [UPDATE].
Customize temporary display
You can customize the design and message of the temporary display.
Each device can display different message depending on the situation.
Click [DEFAULT MESSAGE] button next to 'temporary view' on the left side of the device edit screen.
Click [ADD NEW] in the upper right corner of the pop-up screen and you can create new temporary display by customizing the design and message.
After creating or selecting the message you want to use as a temporary display, click [CHOOSE].
Click [UPDATE].
Preview function is not available for temporary display.
Turn ON the temporary view toggle and check on Acall Reception (iPad) screen.
Reception screen on Acall Reception will switch to the temporary display if you check "show" box under 'temporary view' on the left side of the device edit screen and click [UPDATE].
