This page describes how to set up group (departments) display on Acall Reception.
Set up group display on Acall Reception
On the Acall Reception, you can choose whether to show groups on the iPad or not. If It is not considered desirable to show its on the reception iPad, such as for security perspectives or top secret project teams, you can choose not to show it.
Acall Reception setting
Click [ App Settings ] > [ Acall Reception ] in Acall Portal side menu.
Click edit button for the device and select "Group Select" and "Staff Search" as actions.
Issue a PINCODE and connect to Acall Reception from your iPad.

Display setting for groups
Click [ Organization ] > [ Groups ] in Acall Portal side menu.
Click edit icon of the group you want to edit, turn OFF the "show on device" toggle and click [UPDATE].
Groups that have been set to be hidden will not be displayed on group selection screen on Acall Reception.
Setting the notification method when selecting a group on reception iPad
If you set up a contact person for each group, when a visitor selects the group on Acall Reception, that person will receive a visitor notification.
Note
- If you have not set up a contact person, person set as front desk will receive the notification.
Select target group
Click [ Organization ] > [ Groups ] in Acall Portal side menu. Click edit icon for the target group.
Select contact person
Search for the contact person in the "Staff" field and click on their name, click [UPDATE].
Confirm that the contact person has been set
Click [ Organization ] > [ Groups ] in Acall Portal side menu.
If you see the name of the contact person in the group list, setting is complete.
