You can make it possible to realize your ideal reception flow on Acall Reception by freely customizing the name of the button labels, the next action flow, and the message change displayed on the reception screen. The following are the steps how to set up the menu function.

Please refer to the Customize the Message Displayed on the Reception Screen for the message display,
Select a device for editing
After logging in Acall Portal, click [App settings] > [Acall Reception] on the side menu, and then click [Edit] icon on the device you want to edit for opening the edit screen.
Add/Remove button labels
Next, add/remove the button labels. click “ADD”, or click the trash can icon mark to delete.
💡 NOTE
・ The maximum number of menus per device is 6.
・ For Basic plan, the maximum number of menus is 2.
Edit button label name
Enter the name of the button. The name can be entered in the button label/sub label respectively.
You can register not only texts, but also an image in the menu.
⚠︎ ATTENTION
There is no character limit for both button labels and sub labels, but long texts may not be displayed properly on iPad.
Change button label order
To change the order of the button labels, drag and drop the left symbol up or down.
Set an action for each button labels
Next, click “action” and you can select one of the following actions.
Please select the appropriate action for each button label names.

Description |
Appoint Code Input |
Visitor holds the appoint code that sent in advance over the device to notify or call the person in charge of the appointment. |
Staff Select (close type) |
Visitor can enter alphabet on the device and search the person in charge by matching the first letter of the "search key". |
Staff Search (open type) |
The device displays a list of persons in charge, and visitors select the person in charge. ※If the number of workers is huge, such as tens of thousands workers, please use other action except, [Staff Search (open type)] as the application may crash. |
Filtered in name |
Visitor can enter alphabet on the device and search the person in charge by exact match of the "search key". |
Group Select |
Display groups on the device for visitors to select. ※Please refer to [Various Functions of Group Settings] for settings for group non-display or call restrictions. |
Custom Call |
Make an extension phone or FaceTime call to a person in charge or group that you set on the Portal. |
Custom Notification |
Notify the person in charge or group that you set on the Portal. |
No Action |
Do not send a notification ※This action is useful when you want to display guide map with some messages for visitors. |
Exit Process |
Proceed the exit procedure ※Only available when Printer function is ON) |
Enter Event Ticket Code |
Enter the event using the QR code sent at the time of event creation |
Leave Event |
Leave the event using the QR code sent at the time of event creation |
💡 NOTE
・Please uncheck the [When there is no appoint code] checkbox, if you have an appointment and want to hide the button without an appoint code.
・The appointment code function is not available in Basic plan. The actions that you can select are [Staff Search(open type) ] and [Custom Notification] only.
Confirm the update on the device
Open Acall Reception on iPad, select each buttons, and check if the specified button label and action are correctly working.
