This page explains spot permissions in the Acall.
What are spot permissions?
You can set permissions, such as “permission for reservation and check-in" or "permission for viewing only" by each spot.
This allows you for various settings such as "separating users for each office," "separating departments for each floor," "setting specific areas as exclusive areas for specific departments," or "setting meeting rooms exclusively for executives (with priority).
Targets for setting spot permissions
Spot permissions are set by a combination of the following
Inheriting Permissions
The spot permissions set one layer above can be taken over.
If you set up the permissions inheriting, you can change the spot permissions settings in a batch based on the hierarchical structure.
Example for inheriting permissions
(Example) All employees can use "Kobe Office", but only managers can use seat "A-02".
The "Spot Use" permission is set and transferred to the company "SAKURA Acall Inc".
Only seat "A-02" is set to individual permissions without inheriting the permissions.
💡 NOTE
For newly created spots, the permission transfer is effective.
For spots for which you want to set individual permission, disable the permission takeover.
Set permission on the first layer.
Set inheriting permission below the second layer.
What you can do with each spot permissions
What you can do depends on the permission, such as whether or not you can view appointments, check-in, and so on.

Spot permissions setting for newly created spots
spot permissions setting for newly created spots are as follows by default.
Inheriting Permission | Permission Setting | |
Spots in the 1st layer | OFF | N/A |
Spots below the second layer | ON | N/A |
In this situation, only workers with "Administrator" or "Tenant Administrator" permission can use the spot. General workers can not use it.
💡 NOTE
※Workers with "Administrator" or "Tenant Administrator" permission are
automatically granted "reservation management + spot usage" permission for all spots.
Please set the permission for general workers when they start using the spots.
