This page explains how to set up a device as a signage/spot check-in device to visualize the usage status of the floor and allow anyone to make reservations.
To use the reservation display, you will need to contact Acall in advance to set up on Acall's end.

What you can do with a signage/spot check-in kiosk

The Signage displays floor map to check the usage of it.
Spot check-in kiosk is also available for displaying a floor map as the signage does and reserving spots (seats and meeting rooms) on the screen.
A signage screen displays the current usage status of the floor.
You can specify the time of the day with the timeline bar at the top of the screen to see the actual usage and reservation status.
The ratio of reservations to number of seats is displayed with different colors to grasp the floor usage visually.
Spot check-in kiosk
In addition to checking the usage status of the floor, you can reserve an available spot and make a reservation for a specific time.
You specify the time of the day with the timeline bar at the top of the screen and check the availability of the spot at the time.
You can find an available time and place for your reservation.
To reserve a spot on a spot check-in kiosk, you need to enter a worker code.

Prepare and set up a signage/spot check-in kiosk
This section describes the steps and settings for using a signage/spot check-in kiosk.
Prepare and place devices for a signage/spot check-in kiosk
・There is no recommended size for the display.
・Please prepare devices with touch display.
・For browser-based display, Android/Windows/iOS are supported.

・The performance is supported on iPad.
Register a floor map and spots
You need to set up a floor map and spots on Acall Portal.
Please refer to [Register and Edit Spots] for registering a floor map and spots.
Register a worker for a display
For both signage and spot check-in kiosk, each devices need worker accounts.
Please refer to [Registering/Editing/Deleting Workers.] for registering workers.
No special settings are required for the signage or spot check-in kiosk.
Please register workers in the same way as regular workers.
Contact Acall about worker information for spot check-in kiosk.
You can skip this step for a signage.
Please contact us with the worker's email address for the spot check-in kiosk you created.

We will notify the worker when we have set up the necessary permissions.
It will take around 5 business days after receiving your inquiry.
Display a signage/spot check-in kiosk
Open [Acall Portal] on the device for the signage/spot check-in kiosk and log in with the worker.
Open [Settings] > [outputs] on the side menu.
Click [SIGNAGE] or [SPOT CHECK-IN KIOSK] of the floor you want to display on the signage/spot check-in kiosk.
