This page explains how to display a screen on a dedicated signage device that shows the usage status of a specific floor or workspace at a glance.

 

What you can do with a signage URL

This feature is useful when using signage players and other devices that have difficulty logging into Acall Portal. Please find below for the difference, compared to the conventional signage function.

💡 Note
・Both signage functions reflect the latest reservation and usage status on the signage screen at 30-second intervals.
・Please refer to the article on [Using Signage/Reserve Displays] for conventional functions.
・There are no requirements or size recommendations for signage dedicated devices.
　You can use touch-type devices such as iPad or any signage player that allows you to specify a URL.
・There is no need to contact Acall to use this service.
　Please follow the instructions on this page to set up and use the service.

Generate a signage URL for the floor map on a spot

⚠︎ ATTENTION
Please generate a signage URL on a different PC, not the dedicated signage device.

 

Click [Settings] > [outputs] on the side menu of the Acall.

When the [Signage URLs] opens, Click [GENERATE URL].

 

Enter a name that is easy to understand for managing signage URLs in the [Name].

• Which floor map you want to display?
• Which signage player you want to use? etc...

The name entered here will not be displayed on the signage screen. Please register a name for administrative purpose.

 

Select [Floor Map] under [Category].

 

Select the floor you wish to display on the signage.

 

Click [GENERATE].

 

The name and category of the generated signage URLs will be displayed on the [Signage URLs].

The URL to display the signage screen can be copied from the [Copy] icon.

 

Set the copied signage URL on your signage player (or open the URL in your browser if you are using an iPad or other devices) to display the floor map.

Generate a signage URL for workspace

⚠︎ ATTENTION
Please generate a signage URL on a different PC, not the dedicated signage device.

 

Click [Settings] > [outputs] on the side menu on the Acall Portal.

When the [Signage URLs] opens, click [GENERATE URL].

 

Enter a name that is easy to understand for managing the signage URL in the [Name].

• Which floor map you want to display?
• Which signage player you want to use?

The name entered here will not be displayed on the signage screen. Please register a name for administrative purpose.

 

Select [Workspace] under [Category].

 

Enter a [Search Criteria] to narrow down the workspaces to be displayed on the signage.

The results of your search will be displayed in the [Related Workspaces].

💡 Note
・Search criteria is partial matches against [name] or [location] of the workspace.
・Only one search criteria can be entered.
・If there is no common search criteria for a workspace,
　please change the [name] or [location] of the workspace.
　　Reference: [Registering and Editing Workplaces (workplaces that are not linked to calendars)]
・If you left blank on the search criteria, all workspaces will be displayed on the signage.

Setting example) You have offices in Tokyo and Osaka, but you want to display only the workspace in Tokyo.
1. Edit all workspaces in the Tokyo office on the workspace edit screen, 
　　and set "Tokyo Office" or "Tokyo" in the [location] field. 
2. Enter "Tokyo" in the [Search Criteria] on the signage URL generating screen.

 

Click [GENERATE].

 

The name and category of the generated signage URL will be displayed on the [Signage URLs].

The URL to display the signage screen can be copied on the [Copy] icon.

 

Set the copied signage URL on your signage player (or open the URL in your browser if you are using an iPad or other devices) to display the reservation status of workspace.
