You can receive visitor notifications on Slack from Acall Reception by integrating Acall with Slack.
This page explains how to set up Slack integration.

Precondition for Slack notifications
Please complete this setup below in Slack before using Acall.
For notifications on Acall Reception, you can choose either "direct messages (DMs)" to receive notifications personally on your acall app, or "channel-specific notifications" to receive notifications in a channel.
When you choose channel-specific notifications, you can set up Mention.

💡 NOTE
If you do not specify any channel when using Channel-Specific Notifications, notifications will be sent to a [#acall] channel.

Integrating Slack with Acall
Connect Acall Portal with Slack
Click [Integrations] > [Chat] on the side menu of the Acall Portal.
A connect screen for each chat service will be displayed .
Click [CONNECT] for "Slack".
⚠︎ ATTENTION
Please log in to Slack in advance as accounts that has administrator or owner permission.
A "Connect slack" pop-up window will be displayed and click [CONNECT].
Please find and select the Slack workspace that you want to connect with Acall on the pull-down menu in the upper right corner of the screen.
Confirm that a request for the selected workspace is displayed on the screen and click [Allow].
Once the integration has completed, the screen below will be displayed.

Receive worker (person in charge) calls via direct messages
This section explains how to set up the service with an example which an employee in sales headquarters responds to an appointment with a business partner.
Illustrative Example
Find a worker's Slack member ID
In order to set up for receiving direct messages from the "acall" application, you need to find a Slack member ID and then set it up on acall.
・How to find your personal user ID
Click your own icon in the upper right corner of the Slack screen and click [Profile].
Member ID can be found and copied from [three dot leader] > [Copy member ID].
・How to find member IDs for all Slack users as an administrator
Administrators can find the member IDs for all users by downloading a CSV file in the Slack administration page.
Click [Workspace name] > [Settings & administration] > [Manage members] on the side menu in Slack to display the administration page.
Click [Export Member List] and download member lists.
Register a worker's Slack user ID
Register a Slack user ID in the worker's edit screen.
After logging in to Acall Portal, click [Organization] > [Workers] on the side menu.
Click the [Edit] icon (pencil mark) of the worker you want to edit for opening the edit screen.
Enter the Slack user ID of the worker who will receive direct messages and click [UPDATE].
💡 NOTE
"Slack user IDs" can be registered in a batch by CSV importing as well.
Import / Export All
Acall Reception settings
After logging in to Acall Portal, click [App settings] > [Acall Reception] on the side menu.
Click [Edit] icon of the device you want to set up.
Open the edit screen and enter the followings as shown below.

When your input is complete, click [UPDATE].
Confirm the operation
Tap a reception menu on Acall Reception.
Hold the QR code issued when creating the appointment over the camera.
💡 NOTE
Please refer to [Send an appointment code to a guest] for creating a QR code.
Tap [OK].
The screen below will be displayed on Acall Reception.
The worker will receive a visitor notification.
Click one of the response buttons in the notification.
A response message for the guest will be displayed on Acall Reception,

Receiving group (department) calls via channel-specific notifications
This section explains how to set up the service with an example which the General Affairs Department responds to a delivery company.
ATTENTION
You need to create a channel in Slack beforehand.
Please refer to [What is a channel?] [Create a channel] for more details.
Illustrative Example
Group settings
After logging in to Acall Portal, click [Organization] > [Groups] on the side menu.
Click [Edit] icon of the group you want to send notifications for opening the edit screen.
Enter the Slack channel name that will receive visitor notifications in the "#Slack Channel" field.
Select the how to mention in the "Slack Mention" field, and click [UPDATE].
Here, we select "channel" as an example.

Acall Reception settings
After logging in to Acall Portal, click [App settings] > [Acall Reception] on the side menu.
Click [Edit] icon of the device you want to set up.
Open the edit screen and enter the followings.

When your input is complete, click [UPDATE].
Add Acall app to private channel
If you want to receive notifications in a private channel on Slack, you must manually add the Acall app to the channel.
・How to add
Right-click on the private channel > [View channel details] > [Integrations] tab > [Add an App] > search for "acall" and click [Add].
・How to check
Right-click on the private channel > [View channel details] > [Integrations] tab > confirm "Acall" is added in App section.
Confirm the operation
Tap reception menu on Acall Reception.
The screen below will be displayed on Acall Reception.
Visitor notifications will be sent in the channel or mentions you set, and click one of the response buttons.
Response message for the guest will be displayed on Acall Reception.
