This article summarizes the various ways to deal with planned power outages and other situations.
Acall Reception
Before the power outage
Before the power outage, put the iPad to sleep and unplug the power cable.
Note
If the iPad goes to sleep or displays a screen other than Acall Reception, administrators will be notified by e-mail that Acall Reception is not connected.
After the power outage
- Check that the power cable is plugged into an outlet and that power is being supplied.
- Check that the administrator has received the e-mail that Acall Reception's connection is restored.
- Check the operation of the device.
Acall Meeting
Before the power outage
Before the power outage, put the iPad to sleep and unplug the power cable.
After the power outage
- Check that the power cable is plugged into an outlet and that power is being supplied.
- Check the operation of the device. Try ENTER/EXIT on Acall Meeting.
Acall Gate
Before the power outage
Before the power outage, put the iPad to sleep and unplug the power cable.
NOTE
If the iPad goes to sleep or displays a screen other than Acall Gate, administrators will be notified by e-mail that Acall Gate is not connected.
After the power outage
- Check that the power cable is plugged into an outlet and that power is being supplied.
- Check that the administrator has received the e-mail that Acall Gate's connection is restored.
- Check the operation of the device. (use QR code to open the gate)
Printers
Before the power outage
Before the power outage, turn the printer off and unplug the power cable.
After the power outage
- Check that the power cable is plugged into an outlet and turn the printer on.
- Check the operation of the device.
Extension Telephone
Before the power outage
Unplug the charging cable from the power outlet.
NOTE
If you are using an extension link, please do not shut down the linked iPad and keep it in sleep mode.
Shutting it down will cause the app to crash when it is restored.
After the power outage
- Check that the power cable is plugged into an outlet and turn the printer on.
- Check the operation of the device.

Call with On-Premise Extensions
- Reinstall Acall Reception
IoT Gate Module
Before the power outage
- Press the power button to turn off the power.
-Unplug the charging cable from the power outlet.
After the power outage
- Turn on the router and other network equipment to connect to the Internet.
It may take some time for network devices to start up.
- Plug the power cable into an electrical outlet. The power will turn on automatically.
- Make sure the green light is blinking.
- Check if the gate opens normally.
NOTE
Be sure to turn on the power of the network equipment before restoring the gate module.
If you turn on the gate module while the network is offline, it may not work properly.
