This page explains how to set up Acall CO2 sensor notifications.
What is CO2 Sensor Integration?
By installing a CO2 sensor in a spot and integrating it to Acall, the CO2 concentration can be visualized in Acall Portal.
By visualizing and notifying the CO2 concentration in the workspace, it can be used to avoid "density" in the workspace and improve workers' productivity.
If the CO2 concentration exceeds a threshold level, it it possible to send a notification to Acall Mobile and workers can ensure proper ventilation.
Workers can receive real-time notifications to help workspaces maintain a comfortable ones.
Administrators can easily analyze spots and times for taking measurements to maintain a comfortable workspaces in the "Analyze" screen.
Preparation in advance
In order to use the CO2 sensor integrating function, we will set up and arrange the equipment for our client.
Please contact us via contact form.
Set up sensor notification
Click [Integrations] > [Sensors] in Acall Portal side menu.
Click the three-point reader in the upper right corner of the screen and click [Add Sensor].
Fill in each field and click [CREATE].
Creating a new sensor notification
Item | Description |
Name |
Enter a name for the sensor. |
Acquired Data |
Select "CO2". |
notification Rule |
Select a notification template. Set a rule to notify Acall Mobile when the CO2 concentration exceeds a set threshold. |
Integrated Spot |
This is the integrated spot with the sensor. If it is a CO2 sensor, you will tie to a spot within the range where the sensor valid values for that room. Notification is also sent when a user is in a child spot of a spot for which notification has been set. Therefore, when you integrated with a room, it is not necessary to integrate the seat spots under the room. |
SeriesID |
Select the management number of the sensor on the SeriesID MODE. |
Terms
SeriesID is the identification number of the sensor's value of the MODE.
In the case of a CO2 sensor, select a SeriesID that includes the string of characters
(F0:AB:54:4C:F0:0E in the picture) that is written on the back side of the CO2 sensor.
(It is included in the first half of the second string separated by ":" of the SeriesID.
The ":" on the back side of the sensor is omitted).
This is is the for setting of the sensor notifications.
If you have not created a notification template, you can find how to set the one in the next section.
Create a notification template
Click [+] .
Click [+ Add Notification].
Fill in each field.

About notification rules
Multiple combinations of threshold values and messages can be registered in a single notification.
This section explains how to set up the following example.
(Example)
You can set the following two notification rules in the case of a step-by-step alert.
1. To notify an alert message when the threshold value exceeded over 800ppm.
→Set "Threshold-0": 800ppm, and set the alert message to "Notification detail-0".
2. To notify a warning message when the threshold value exceeded over 1000ppm.
→Set "Threshold-1": 1000ppm, and set an alert message in "Notification detail-1".
Click [+ Add Rule] in the notification rules.
Enter "Threshold-0" and "Notification detail-0".
Combination of Threshold 800ppm "Threshold-0" and Alert Message "Notification detail-0"
Click [+ Add Rule].
Enter "Threshold-1" and "Notification detail-1".
Combination of Threshold 1000ppm "Threshold-1" and warning message "Notification detail-1"
Click [CREATE].
After adding, click on the notification template to view the notification rules.
Click the [Edit] icon for editing.
Click the [Delete] icon for deleting.
This is the end for creating a notification template.
Check notifications on mobile
The following notifications will be sent when the conditions set in the notification rules are met.
Notifications to mobile will be sent to a worker who is checking in to the spot integrated with the sensor.
Check the status of CO2 concentration analysis
Click [Analyze] in the side menu of Acall Portal to display a graph of CO2 concentration.
You can change the display period by clicking [Date] in the upper right corner.
NOTE
If you specify one day only for the display period, 00:00 to 24:00 of that day will be displayed
You can select the maximum, average, and minimum values from [Sort] on the right.
This is the end for completing the setup for CO2 sensor integration and additional notifications settings.
