ACALL RECEPTION allows you to receive notifications via SMS (Short Message Service) in addition to email. It might be difficult for workers who are frequently away from the office to be aware of the notifications when you receive visitor notifications via email. However, It could be much more reliably aware of the notifications by utilizing SMS notifications together. The following are the steps how to set up SMS notifications.
Turning on the SMS notification function
After logging in the Portal, click [App settings] > [ACALL RECEPTION] in the side menu.
Turn [SMS notification] ON in the [Additional functions] section, and click [UPDATE] at the bottom of the screen.
Setting up workers' mobile number
Administrators should set the cell phone number in the worker's edit screen.
If you want to set up the worker information in a batch with CSV, please import a CSV file of workers.
Please set up in the [Account Settings], if workers without administrator permission want to register by themselves.
・When you register a cell phone number, the hyphen "-" is not necessary.
Confirming that a SMS notification is sent to the specified mobile number
Finally, please make sure that a SMS notification is sent to to the worker who has entered a cell phone number when calling on ACALL RECEPTION.
・You will be notified of the visitors' information (purpose of visit/company name/their name) with the visitor information input function.
Therefore, you can respond to visitors with some understanding of their attributes.
