ACALL RECEPTION allows you to freely customize the name of the button labels, the next action flow, and change the message displayed on the reception receiving screen, making it possible to realize the reception flow you envision. The following is a description of how to set up the menu configuration function.
NOTE
For the message display, please refer to the message display function.
Select the device to be edited
After logging in to the admin panel, select [Settings] in the main title in the black band, and then select [Devices] in the gray subtitle.
Then select the device you want to edit and click “Edit”
Add/remove button labels
Next, add/remove the button labels. Click “ADD” to add, or click the trash can mark to remove.
NOTE
For the Basic plan, the maximum number of menus is two.
Editing the button label name
Enter the name of the button. The name can be entered in the button label/sub-label respectively.
In addition to text, images can be registered in the menu.
NOTE
There is no character limit for both button labels and sub-labels,
but long text may not be displayed well on the iPad.
Changing the order of button labels
To change the order of the button labels, drag and drop the leftmost symbol up or down.
Setting the action for each button label

Next, click on “Actions” to select one of the following actions.
Please select the appropriate action for each button label name.

Explanation |
Appointment Code Input |
The visitor holds up the pre-sent appointment code on the device to notify or call the person in charge of the appointment. |
Contact person selection (closed type) |
The visitor can enter alphabetic input from the device to narrow down and select the contact person. |
Contact person selection (Open Type) |
The device displays a list of persons, and the visitor selects a person. |
Search Person |
A visitor can enter alphabetic input from the device and selects the person who matches the search key exactly. |
Group selection |
Display groups on device for visitors to select. |
Custom Call | Make an extension or FaceTime call to a contact/group set in the management screen. |
Custom notification |
Notify the person/group set in the admin screen. |
None | No notification (often a message will be displayed) |
Exit processing |
Perform exit processing (only available when entry processing is ON) |
Event entry |
The QR code sent at the time of event creation is used to process the event reception. |
Event exit | Exit the event using the QR code sent at the time of event creation. |
NOTE
If you have an appointment and want to hide the button without a code,
please check the [No appointment code] checkbox.
The appointment code function is not available in Basic.
The only actions that can be selected are [Select person in charge (open type)] and [Custom notification].

Confirm the update on the device
Finally, launch ACALL RECEPTION on the device, select each button, and check if the button label/action are as you specified.
