By integrating with Google Chat, WorkstyleOS can send notifications of visits to Google Chat.
NOTE
-This can only be done by the administrator of your Google account.
Creating an ACALL group in Google Chat
Launch Google Chat
Click on the [+] button labeled [Add Chat Room or Direct Message].
Click on [Create Chat Room].
Enter [acall] as the group name, and click the [Create] button.
Click [Add Users and BOTs], add the accounts you want to be notified, and click [Send]. (There is a group or direct notification setting in the work item we will show you later. If you do not set the group or direct notification settings, the notifications will be sent to the users in the "acall" group added above.)
Setting up a Webhook
Click the downward-pointing triangle (▼) at the top of the screen, and then click [Set webhook].
Click [+ WEBHOOK].
Enter [ACALL BOT] in the Name field and “https://www.workstyleos.com/a.png” in the Avatar URL field, then click [Save].
A Webhook URL will be created.
Registering a Webhook URL to ACALL and making a connection
After logging in to the Portal, select [Service integration] > [Chat services] in the side menu to display the items for each chat service, then select [Google Chat] and click Connect.

Select the administrator account and click [Allow].
In the [Webhook URL] field, enter the URL for the webhook you just created and click [Save].
Selecting a notification method
Select the notification method for each menu button.
In the Portal side menu, click Apps > ACALL RECEPTION > Edit (pencil mark) on the corresponding device to open the edit screen.

For notifications, you can choose between direct notifications and channel notifications. Click [Update] when you’re finished.
Notifications will be as follows (default is direct notification)
- Direct notification: This is a direct notification to an individual.
- Channel notification: The notification will be sent to the specified channel.
If a worker belongs to multiple groups, the first group registered with the worker will be notified.
NOTE
The first group to be notified will be indicated by a green mark
in the upper left corner of the group affiliation section of
the Worker Edit screen / Account Settings screen.

NOTE
Only direct notification is available for the basic plan.
Setting up a Webhook URL for a worker
First, create a new group in Google Chat using the account you want to be directly notified for, and create a webhook URL
Do not add any other accounts to this group. (For details on how to create a group, please refer to "Creating an ACALL group in Google Chat" and "Setting up a Webhook" at the top of this page.

In the Portal side menu, click Organization > Workers > Edit (pencil mark) on the name of the worker you want to edit to open the edit screen.

Enter the required information
Don't forget to enter your "G Suite account" (Google account) at this time.
In the [Webhook URL] field, enter the URL of the webhook for the newly created group, and click [Save] at the end.
If you want to set up a batch of worker information in CSV, please do CSV import of workers.
If you are an ordinary worker and want to set up your own permissions, you can do so in [Account Settings].
Setting up a Webhook URL for a group
This section only applies to Pro and Unlimited plans.
If you want to create a new group, first create a new group that you want to notify via Google Chat, and then create a Webhook URL (for details on how to create a group, please refer to "Creating an ACALL group in Google Chat" and "Setting up a Webhook" at the top of this page). at the top of this page).

In the Portal side menu, click Organization > Groups > Edit (pencil mark) in the group you want to edit to open the edit screen.

On the group edit screen, enter the webhook URL of the Google Chat group you just created in the [Webhook URL] field, and click [Save] at the end.
